Although concrete is great in compressive strength its weakness is tensile strength. To compensate the industry uses different methods and designs of reinforcing to compensate and build a structure capable of handlings the loads and lifecycle it is designed for. Proportioning the Mix: Our management team has extensive relationships with ready mix suppliers on a global network. Our knowledge of materials and suppliers sets us apart from the normal concrete contractor. Our team ensures the concrete mix is carefully designed, considering factors like strength, durability, workability and cost. This includes selecting the right combination of cement, aggregates, water, and additives. It is uncommon for jobs to require site made mix, but our experience proportioning our own mix allows us to better understand the ready mix delivered to the site and identify potential problems in cement, sand and aggregate ratios.

On horizontal surfaces protection of the concrete, especially if it will later be utilized as a finish surface is paramount. We have internally tested a number of products that we utilize on these types of projects to reduce damages and still allow critical construction schedules to take place.

We have a variety of surface preparation equipment that allows us to be second to none in the industry at achieving specified preparation requirements and challenging schedules, especially on large projects. Our cure systems allow us to install multiple layers in a single day to achieve placement rates up to 40,000 ft.² per day in parking structures and plaza deck applications.
